ATV and UTV trails
If you are willing to travel to find a place to ride your Can-Am® ATV or Polaris® UTV, you will be well rewarded. You don't even have to leave the lower peninsula to find some incredible places to have your next off road adventure. We've picked out a few spots that are sure to provide a great time when you get out on your ATV or UTV.
Indian Gardens ORV Route
In the northern reaches of the lower peninsula, you can find 37 miles of UTV ready trails, the Indian Gardens ORV Route. This area features wide, well ridden tracks. The trails can be muddy , which can provide experienced riders with plenty of opportunities to kick up dirt and sling some mud around. This system of trails also features plenty of long straight stretches that give a rider the opportunity to open up the throttle a bit. Hills about in the Indian gardens,which makes for a fun roller coaster of a ride.
Red Bridge Trail and Route
Red Bridge Trail and Route is a winding 28 mile ride through the forest just south of Black Lake in Cheboygan County. Featuring plenty of curves, hills, and gorgeous scenery, this ride is an ideal stopover for anyone taking a weekend on the north side of the lower peninsula. Take the time to give this ride a look, it takes just about 2 hours, and it's worth taking your ATV off the trailer to get a look.
Snowmobile Trails
Finding a place to ride a snowmobile near Cedar Springs is easy once there is snow on the ground. We have picked out a few accessible trails in the area for you to explore when winter rolls around and you are itching to get out and ride your Arctic Cat® or Ski-Doo snowmobile.
Snowmobile Trail 5
Snowmobile Trail 5 begins in Cedar Springs and runs almost straight north. When there's a solid snowpack, this trail is a ton of fun and can take you pretty far up the peninsula. Be aware when you're making this ride that you'll want to have stop and turnaround points planned out, as you don't want to get caught riding in the dark.
Snowmobile trail 59 near Wayland
If you head up to Wayland or Hopkins you can gain access to some great snowmobiling in Allegan county. Running a loop around Wayland, trail 59 goes between Hopkins and Middleville, and doubles back north of Wayland. You can easily make these trails a full day of riding with a few stops to warm up. When the weather permits, this is a great ride for those on the west side of the lower peninsula.
